"Words Shine When They Rhyme" | Tropical Beach Song for kids & the family

02:09
Family musical fun for the summer! Improve your child's reading skills by practicing rhyming and singing with the whole family! We discovered at Toddler World TV that parents and educators want new material to add to the traditional genre of nursery rhymes. "Words Shine When They Rhyme" is an original rhyming song (nursery rhyme) for the whole family (also for preschool, nursery school, and elementary school). It's designed to build vocabulary and teach children word associations through rhyme and music. It's also meant to be fun for kids and grown-ups alike by facilitating dancing and singing. So why rhyme? Rhyming activities help children learn to read, which is why rhyming is used in most reading programs. Research has shown that rhyming is an important component of early language acquisition. The added benefit of working with rhymes is that such "word games" are also fun for adults. This tropical-themed video mirrors the excitement kids feel when they begin their adventure down the road of wordplay, word association, and vocabulary building -- an adventure they'll take to adulthood. Enjoy the learning and summertime fun! "The Parts of You and Me" | body parts song for kids | human anatomy for children

02:02
"The Parts of You an Me" is an educational song and video that teaches toddlers, young kids, and non-native English speakers the names of different parts of the body and active verbs associated with them. For example, "seeing" is linked to eyes, "hearing" is linked to ears, "smelling" to nose and so on. This synergistic approach to learning enables listeners to absorb several concepts at the same time. SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES You might want your youngsters to sit quietly and watch the video. That's a great approach that works for many people. Sometimes, however, it is also nice for kids to get actively involved. So you might ask the kids to stand up, dance to the beat, and point to each body part as the song goes also. At the main chorus part, where the lyrics read "These are the parts of you and me," you might have the kids point to each other and then to themselves. This should work well for both small and large groups, such as one on one interaction and kindergarten classes. Share "The Parts of You and Me" on Google+, Facebook, Twitter, or some other social media site! Thank you! Water Slides for Kids with Spelling - Indoor Family Water Park Fun

02:23
Toddler Taika explores several different water slides and swimming pools at a fun family indoor water park. There are big water sides, small waters slides, and many in between. At one point "water slide" is spelled so that the younger kids can begin to associate letters with words. Combining education with fun is often a very useful way to introduce children to important skill sets. Suggested activities/projects: Have your kids watch the video, and then get some colorful paper and cut out letters containing "water slide" with them and then show them the video. Stop the video at the point where "water slide" is spelled, and help them organize the letters in the correct order. Another useful learning section occurs at the second big water slide. Here there is a red light that turns green. Explain the significance of the lights, and how they can also be seen in traffic lights. Let us know how it goes in the comments sections. Thanks for watching, and enjoy the educational fun. Subscribe to Toddler World TV: https://www.youtube.com/user/toddlerw... Written, filmed, and directed by Matthew J. "The Winter Ball Pit Show" for learning colors -- children's educational video

"The Winter Ball Pit Show" was designed to entertain kids while teaching them about colors. In the video you will see four toddlers (Taika, Saima, Isla and Aisla) playing in a ball pit in a playroom and having loads of fun. The room has a winter theme because the kids wanted to pretend they were in Arendelle (from the movie Frozen); they are also wearing dresses similar to that of Elsa. The educational sequence begins when Taika identifies the color of each ball. This is followed by fun dancing and spinning. In the following sequence the very young toddler Saima also names the colors of several balls. Although intended for kids, it should be fun for the whole family. Row Row Row Your Boat Children's Song | Learn to Count Nursery Rhyme

02:13
Row Row Row Your Boat is a classic lullaby & nursery rhyme which is very popular with babies, toddlers, and young children. Toddler World TV adapted the song for use as a basic educational counting song. Here your youngsters will learn to count from one to four. The counting is also reflected in the music, which is a round (in a round different voices sing the exact same melody but each voice begins at a different place). So how does that work? In the video we count boats. As each boat is added to the scene, a new voice in the round comes in till the finale of four voices all at the same time. We hope you find this song and video both beautiful and educational.

The Balloon Song was written in 2012 by Matthew John Dorman (and performed by his band, Little Blue Globe Band) to help teach his baby daughter Taika (Taika means 'magic' in Finnish) basic colors (you can see Taika playing violin in the video). The song worked so well that Matt made a video for it and uploaded it to YouTube in early 2013. It was not monetized at first -- it was simply used to teach Taika (and her relatives and friends) colors. The video quickly became an international toddler hit, and many more videos soon followed. This rendition features a new version of the song coupled with a new live action video featuring sisters Taika and Saima playing music and playing with balloons. Like the original version, the five year anniversary version of the Balloon Song is designed to help toddlers, young children, and older kids who are non-native speakers learn the basic colors - and have fun in the process. We hope you enjoy the video! The song will soon be available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and many other digital stores. The Monster Song -- Children's Halloween folk song for helping kids cope with 'monsters'

01:42
The Monster Song is a family-friendly folk song which aims to help kids from being afraid of 'monsters' -- especially at Halloween time. The lesson is that you should be aware that when you are scared, your mind can play tricks on you -- tricks such as making you think there are monsters. Along with helping kids alleviate fears of bedtime monsters, the song should also be fun for Halloween festivities! The video begins with a boy thinking there's a monster under his bed. He finally gets the courage to look and finds that it's just a teddy bear. In the second scene, a girl thinks there is a witch in the hallway, but it's just her friend dressed like a witch. In the third scene, a girl thinks she sees a goblin in the tree, but upon closer inspection, she finds it's just her cat. In the final scene, all the kids think a werewolf is in the kitchen, but when they go to the kitchen to see they find it's just their cute dog playing with a mitten! All this is set to a light-hearted folk song which should be fun for older kids, grown-ups, and the whole family. It's also a great sing-along song!
