The most fascinating and important attraction in England's city of Bath are the Roman baths, ancient ruins from 2000 years ago. The center of Bath was built on top of the original Roman baths on the site of a natural hot spring, an ancient geological feature that has been bubbling for millennia. A comprehensive museum has been built on the site incorporating many of the original Roman structures along with thousands of artifacts in a fascinating display that reveals how very civilized they were 2000 years ago. The museum's main feature is the large bathing pool which originally had a roof but now has an outdoor terrace that you can walk all the way around. Be sure to enjoy the different angles looking into the pool across the rooftops of the city and at the tower of the adjacent Bath Abbey. http://tourvideos.com/

THIS VIDEO IS COURTESY OF THE BATH FASHION MUSEUM AND SOMERSET COUNCIL. A rare glimpse of a fashion doll from the 1760-1770s featuring a Stiff Bodied Gown with silver lace trim. The bodice part of the gown is cut very similarly to a pair of stays and the train similar to the Mantua. It was worn for High Court wear here in the UK - for example weddings and coronations.

Wives and daughters, sisters and mothers; none of the Royal women featured in the exhibition was monarch; yet each played a key role in the British monarchy. The stories behind the dresses and the choice of colour, cut or style can tell us much about Alexandra, Mary, Elizabeth, and Margaret, and how they chose to present themselves as royal women. The exhibition will run from 3 February 2018 - 28 April 2019 www.fashionmuseum.co.uk/royalwomen #RoyalWomen

Since creating my music video, I've been continuing to film, but in a more relaxed and experimental fashion since my project is finished. This was the first time I had visited Bath, so I decided to take my camera along. Some of the places seen in the video: Bath Assembly Rooms, Fashion Museum Bath - 'A History of Fashion in 100 Objects' exhibition, Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths, Pulteny Weir and the Jane Austen Centre. This video was inspired by the following creators, who remind me of how much I have to improve and develop my own filming style: FunForLouis https://www.youtube.com/user/FunForLouis Freyahaley https://youtu.be/q17N8o8Rxgg Will Darbyshire https://youtu.be/log6JVJfokE CutiePieMarzia https://youtu.be/atZNmfvyof0 Sara Dietschy https://youtu.be/8sG63_2Qhlg Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHpbbxCW_pI

The Fashion History Museum is located in the northern part of Cambridge, Ontario. The collection and galleries are in an old converted post office from 1929. The exhibits change two to three times a year. This video showcases the Back to the Eights collection with Punk outfits, Japanese styles from the time as well as the large shoulder pads synonymous with the 1980s. The building was converted in 2014-2015 and retains much of the original character and design elements incorporating them into the museum. 16 MARCH - 14 JULY 2019 Tudors to Windsors traces the history of the British monarchy through the outstanding collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London. This exhibition highlights major events in British (and world) history from the sixteenth century to the present, examining the ways in which royal portraits were impacted by both the personalities of individual monarchs and wider historical change. Presenting some of the most significant royal portraits, the exhibition will explore five royal dynasties: the Tudors, the Stuarts, the Georgians, the Victorians and the Windsors shedding light on key figures and important historical moments. This exhibition also offers insight into the development of British art including works by the most important artists to have worked in Britain, from Sir Peter Lely and Sir Godfrey Kneller to Cecil Beaton and Annie Leibovitz. To bring these royal figures to life, Bendigo Art Gallery has secured key loans of historic fashion, armour and personal effects which will be featured alongside these magnificent and imposing portraits. Significant lenders: Historic Royal Palaces, the Bath Fashion Museum, Royal Armouries, FIDM Museum, LA, National Gallery of Victoria, State Library of Victoria and Art Gallery of South Australia.
