Studies have shown that drinking a glass of wine every day is incredibly beneficial for your system: it removes toxins from your body and improves your brain function. We decided to find out whether these statements are true by having one glass of wine a day for a whole month. The experiment started out great: I felt super sophisticated having my evening wine in front of the TV. But on Day 3, the alcohol started messing with my sleep cycle. I started craving water during these little bedtime disruptions. In fact, this crazy nighttime thirst became so frequent that I would keep a glass of water on my night stand. One of the best things that happened during the experiment was a change in how I “partied” with my friends. I would invite people over for a glass of wine, and those who were game, showed up. In the middle of Week 2 of the experiment, my appearance had changed. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for the better. A weight gain and dark circle under my eyes and breakouts – it wasn’t something I wanted to get. I checked my blood pressure every day, and I can say with confidence that alcohol didn't change a thing in that respect. My health was perfectly fine. But by the end of the experiment, I started having trouble concentrating, and I felt weak and tired most of the time. For one, drinking at home from time to time definitely has its perks. Getting rid of unnecessary get-togethers is also a big reward from this experiment. It helped me figure out who I want to spend my time with and who I don’t mind seeing less often. Plus, I got so interested in the whole culture of drinking wine and eating cheese. On the downside, I can't agree with scientists on this one. In my opinion, drinking wine on a daily basis does no good for your health, even if it's just one glass. I decided to see if it’s true for myself. -I felt great at first, but started having trouble sleeping on Day 3. -After a couple of days, I started having a crisis of conscious. I felt like I was doing something wrong by drinking every single day. -Spending evenings in my cozy home was definitely a nice bonus for me. I was only hanging out only with people I found truly interesting, or my closest friends. -In the middle of Week 2, I noticed a weight gain, dark circles under my eyes and breakouts. By the end of the experiment, I started having trouble concentrating, and I felt weak and tired most of the time. -Drinking at home is cheaper than going to the bar every week, and you can just relax whenever you want. However, drinking wine on a daily basis does no good for your health, even if it's just one glass. Red Wine - Find out how bestofluxury.com evaluates the best Red Wine. The latest rankings of the best Red Wine can be seen at: http://best-red-wine.bestofluxury.com/best-expensive-red-wine http://www.bestofluxury.com At bestofluxury.com, we evaluate the best wines available. Wine aficionados who are looking for the best experience seek a way to measure the quality of various wines in the industry. Our services assist these connoisseurs in finding wines that will provide them with the best overall experience based on the opinions and experiences of our certified evaluators, individuals who have years of experience in the wine industry. Our methodology for evaluating the best wines featured on our website is a meticulous process in which our team performs market research to better understand various significant aspects of the luxury wine market. In addition, bestofluxury.com connects with various industry experts and connoisseurs who have experience in tasting the finest wines available and are willing to assist with the evaluation process. They also understand which vintages offer the best overall experience in several areas of evaluation. Our evaluations of the luxury wine industry are based on taste, reputation, aroma, ingredients, and availability. The enthusiasts who assist us with the evaluations have years of experience in working with the finest wines, and they understand the dynamics of what makes most sought after wines. Our team spends time tasting and evaluating a wide variety of wine in order to compare the various blends, ages, and strengths and how those aspects impact the overall taste and appeal. Reputation is also important for many wineries. Various awards and critiques of each wine released in a year are taken into account when evaluating each bottle of wine. But we don't evaluate a wine on reputation alone. In fact, we put that reputation to the test. The aroma of each wine is another essential criterion in our evaluation. Our enthusiasts evaluate the aroma of the wine and use various methods to determine the maturity of the wine. Another factor under consideration includes the aftertaste. The quality and source region of the grapes is also important to the evaluation. Several regions are known for their grapes, and those grapes impart a particular taste. Quality can fluctuate from one season to the next, and our evaluation takes this into account. We make our recommendations so that you can rest assured that when you choose one of our showcased wines you are selecting the best available in the luxury market. Availability is yet another important aspect to selecting wines. Having a luxury wine which is limited in quantity and availability can often mean a more delicate product. However, that exclusivity can mean that there are not sufficient quantities for a large event. We check both availability and exclusivity in order to enable you to pick the perfect wine for your occasion. Our process for evaluating and ranking luxury wines is meticulous, and we evaluate varieties that span the entire spectrum of types and vintages. We continue to monitor how each brand changes over time and how various seasonal influences may impact the overall experience.

Wine Marketing Strategy | Content Marketing Plan for Wine Brands Buy my book today! http://bit.ly/bestbrandingbook Contact me: http://www.edwindearborn.com/contact/ Connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/edwindearborn/ One of the most powerful methods to forward your wine marketing strategy is the use of modern inbound marketing. Factually any wine brand can take advantage of it with minimal investment. How much does it cost to place an ad in Wine Enthusiast, versus creating content and distributing it through your email and social media? The only time involved with the latter is the man hours, but once created, those networks will remain in place for a long time. And according to a recent Hubspot report that surveyed 900+ professionals, 89% of businesses are either maintaining or increasing their inbound marketing budgets. What you can do to better market and sell wine: 1. Use video as branded content to forward your wine marketing strategy. Branded content, such as video presentations, insight into how to pair wine with food, interviews with wine experts, and showcasing popular vineyards, are just some of the ideas of promoting wise through content and social media. 2. Blog more. If your winery had a special event, write a quick paragraph that covers it. Got sheep grazing in the spring vineyards? Explain how it’s part of you practice and post pictures of the baby sheep. Everyone loves baby animal pics. Is there an exciting new variety being released? Interview the winemaker, and express his passion for it. 3. Use paid social media advertising, such as Facebook. Don’t simply post links to your bottles of wine for sale. In fact, promoting your product on the social network should be a low priority. Use them to listen to your customers, and interact with them. Show them there’s a face behind the company. This fosters trust and increased loyalty. Post a picture of your last wine club event and tag your wine club members. Their friends and family will see that, and it furthers your brand recognition. 4. Monitor your brand. You have a world of wine bloggers, forums, and niche social communities talking about your brand. Visit their site, and comment on their review. Join the forum and do the same.

Get our diabetes management guide here https://goo.gl/XVKuQw Many of you have heard that if you have diabetes you cannot have alcohol. Well, that simply isn’t true. As a matter of fact, the ADA says that alcohol, in moderation, is fine. Their recommendation is no more than 1 drink per day for women and 2 drinks for men. This has been a bone of contention however for many. But new studies show that a particular drink is actually showing benefits for those with diabetes. What could it be? Red wine. We know alcohol actually reduces blood sugar. But it can lower it to dangerously low levels. This is not why drinking red wine is being seen as “good” for those with diabetes. I will caution you that if you do drink any type of alcohol, do with so with food and monitor your blood sugar closely. Too many times hypoglycemia is misinterpreted as intoxication and has resulted in very sad situations. That being said, a recent study revealed that moderate red wine consumption (defined as one glass per day in this study) can reduce the risks of heart disease in people with type 2 diabetes. In the study, more than 200 participants were monitored for two years. One group had a glass of red wine each night with dinner, one had white wine, and the other had mineral water. All followed a healthy diet without any calorie restrictions. After two years, the red wine group had higher levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL, or good cholesterol) than they did before, and lower cholesterol levels overall. They also saw benefits in glycemic control. The researchers concluded that drinking moderate amounts of red wine in conjunction with a healthy diet can “modestly decrease” heart disease risks. Red wine is loaded with antioxidants, and is credited with numerous potential health benefits when you drink it in moderate amounts. People with diabetes who choose to take advantage of these potential benefits should remember: Moderation is key, and timing of alcohol intake with food intake needs to be considered, especially for those on diabetes medicine. It is interesting to note that RED wine and white wine were both studied and Red wine had a much more significant effect. However, not all red wines are the same. What you are looking for if you choose to drink red wine in hopes of reaping benefits as one with diabetes is a dry red wine. A recent survey revealed these red wines has giving maximum benefits. Pinot Noir: A medium to light bodied wine that is becoming very popular. Cabernet Sauvignon: One of the most popular and best selling wines in the U.S. with a full bodied taste. Merlot: A softer, fruitier wine than the Cabernet Sauvignon. Malbec: a dark fruit wine commonly referred to as "the black wine". Zinfandel: This wine can have many different flavors from hearty and full to delicately light. So there you have it. Please understand I am not advocating that you go out and buy a case of Merlot. This is a personal decision, but I do advise that you talk with your health care provider before you take any action. Alcohol can have an effect on medications and other aspects of your diabetes. This is a decision that you must discuss with others.

There are a number of ways that foreign wine brands can attempt to gain traction in the hypercompetitive U.S. market – they can hire a dedicated brand ambassador to tell their story to distributors and retailers, they can hire a promotional agency to drive word-of-mouth about their product in the marketplace, or they can try to leverage success in their home market – such as local press coverage – to get an “in” with distributors and importers. At the USATT Conference 2016, panel participants discussed the merits of all three options. Ultimately, says Giacomo Turone, a VP with the wine and spirits importer Palm Bay International, foreign press is a good first step, but nobody is going to buy your wine based on press alone. You need to have a high-quality product. But showing evidence that your winery is press-savvy helps, of course. And, if the owners of the foreign wine brand have good enough English-language skills, it may be possible to replicate that same success with the U.S. media. Scott Ades, CEO of The Winebow Group, agrees. He says that you can easily pay out $150,000 or more for a brand ambassador over a 12-month period, and those expenses would be better spent on building the core brand in other ways. One suggestion he has is for fledgling wine brands to have someone from their winery come to New York City (or other U.S. city) for a short time, learn the business, and try to establish the brand. That’s a more reasonable cost for an unknown brand, and one that can actually help the wine create greater scale in the U.S. market. Ades says that the key to achieving scale is having the combination of a good-quality product, good quality packaging, and a good story. Instead of hiring a brand ambassador, it’s more important to leverage the resources of the importer or distributor to help you with telling the brand story. And that’s going to be easier if you have all 3 elements – the product, the packaging and the story – working together. Actually, says Ades, the packaging and story play a greater role than you might imagine. “It’s all about the story,” he says. That’s because most wine consumers are still relatively uneducated about the product, so having a compelling packaging or story can help to break through the clutter and convince them to buy your product. The goal of having all three elements working together is to prove that your wine delivers value. And, according to Ades, “value” does not mean having the lowest price in the marketplace. Instead, he says, it means that your wine is a good buy for its specific price point. ** About USA Trade Tasting ** USA Trade Tasting (USATT) is an annual adult beverage trade tasting and business conference where brand owners can connect with US importers, US state distributors, US retailers and press of USA. 2018 USATT will be hosted in New York City on May 16-17. Is Drinking Wine Good or Bad For Diabetes Download Diabetes Management Book: http://bit.ly/2g0NDAH Hello, I'm Ty Mason from TheDiabetesCouncil.com, researcher, writer and I have type 2 diabetes. Today I'm going to answer the question, is drinking wine good for diabetes. But before we get into that, make sure you download my free diabetes management book which also includes a diabetes grocery shopping guide (foods to eat and avoid). I sure do get a lot of questions about drinking alcohol when it comes to diabetes. Alcohol does lower blood sugar levels. For several years doctors and researchers have known this but other factors played into decisions of whether or not to recommend alcohol for those with diabetes. But a 2015 study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine became the first long term study on the effects and safety of those with Type 2 drinking moderate amounts of alcohol. I came across this study from a news item produced by CBS, they did a great job reporting on the findings, so I give them a lot of credit for much of the content of that follows. The study involved 224 diabetes patients who generally abstained from alcohol. They were assigned to one of 3 groups who were told to drink 5 ounces of red wine, white wine, or mineral water with their dinner for two years. They were also assigned to eat a well-balanced diet but with no calorie restrictions. Tests were conducted at random times to determine how quickly the participants metabolized alcohol, as well as various cholesterol tests. Other tests included blood glucose levels, blood pressure, liver function tests, and medication use during the two-year follow-up. The study concluded that those in the red wine group had improvements in their lipid tests. The study also showed that in both red and white wine drinkers, sleep quality was significantly improved compared with the water control group. "One to two glasses of red wine for men and up to one glass of red wine for women, daily, at dinner," was the amount indicated by the study, according to Dr. Minisha Sood. "It's the non-ethanol components of the wine, which are present more so in red wine. It's the phenols, it's the resveratrol, it's the tannins. They all work together with the ethanol possibly to result in these positive changes." While the study shows benefits, Dr. Susan Spratt said, "I worry about the subset of my type 2 diabetes patients who drink too much, and that this may give them more ammunition to say alcohol is good for diabetes. Over-drinking can poison the pancreas. In these patients, when they stop drinking, their diabetes gets tremendously better." “I wouldn't tell someone to start drinking, but if I knew a type 2 diabetes patient was a moderate drinker, I would tell them it looks like red wine is the best choice out of all alcohols to drink, rather than white wine, beer, or hard liquor." I will echo the sentiments of Dr Spratt. I hope this answered your question is drinking wine good or bad for diabetes. Don’t forget to get your diabetes management book. Let me know if you have any other diabetes related questions.

Let them rest 1st time during the alcoholic fermentation. Remove skins and particules, let ferment 2nd time (malolactic). Bottle and enjoy. --------------------------------------- Sulfites Calculus Details --------------------------------------- Lots of resources recommend 1 (regular) Campden tablet per gallon. that should be 0.440mg of metabisulfite for 3.8 liters = 0.220g of SO2. That would correspond to using 1.1g metabisulfite per 10L of must. My french documents give me an average of 30mg/l (so2) X 10 liters X 2( cause meta-BI-sulfites) = Only 600 mg for 10 liters. But it's for super sane grapes only. For slightly dirty/rotten grapes they recommend using 60mg/l of SO2 so 1200mg per 10 liters. 1 gallon = 3.78 liters 10 liters = 2.6 gallons Not all grapes are equals in terms of wine making : in fact they are divided into 2 main categories : TABLE GRAPES and WINE GRAPES. Table grapes are the ones you know from your local grocery store : Larger, plumpier, often seedless, they have nice pulp but a thin skin. Inside it’s mild in terms of acidity and sweetness. Thompson seedless, Crimson, Red globe... Wine Grapes are smaller, they have plenty seeds, thicker skins, more juices but fewer pulp. And Inside they’re are sweeter and way more acidic than table grapes. Also they got Tannins, that dryness at the back of the mouth. Kinvah, the flagship brand brand of Nandi Valley Winery is named after an exotic wine of the Mauryan Era; it is tribute to the rich wine heritage of India that is chronicled in the Purana's and Ithiha's. Produced from premium quality French grapes grown in the apt climate of Bijapur, this marquee label of Nandi Valley heralds the arrival of an indian wine that's on par with legendry French and Italian wines. Kinvah is all about refined tastes and fine living. A party, a romantic evening, a celebration; whatever the occasion, kinvah adds a touch of class and sophistication. It is nectar to the palate, euphoria to the senses, and intrigue to the intellect, making life richer in every sense. This is the reason why the kinvah tagline is - 'Life's Richer'. Kinvah has Red Wines - Saara Red wine, Saara port 5000, Manthan, Shiraz, Cabernet Shiraz, Grape Escape, Fizzo Red White Wines - Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Chenin Blanc, Saara white wine, Grape Escape, Fizzo White. These wines are available in 750ml, 375ml, and 180ml bottles.
