Steve Jobs' amazing marketing strategy - MUST WATCH

This is a very complicated world. It’s a very noisy world. And we’re not going to get a chance to get people to remember much about us. No company is! And so, we have to be really clear on what we want them to know about us. Now Apple, fortunately, is one of half-a-dozen best brands in the whole world. Right up there with Nike, Disney, Coke, Sony — it is one of the greats of the greats. Not just in this country, but all around the globe. But even a great brand needs investment and caring if it’s going to retain its relevance and vitality. And the Apple brand has clearly suffered from neglect in this area in the last few years. And we need to bring it back! The way to do that is NOT to talk about speeds and fees. It’s NOT to talk about bits and mega-hertz. It’s NOT to talk about why we are better than Windows. The dairy industry tried for 20 years to convince you that milk was good for you. It’s a lie, but they tried anyway. And the sales were falling. And then they tried “Got milk” and the sales went up. “Got milk” wasn’t even talking about the product. In fact, it focuses on the absence of the product. But the best example of all, and one of the greatest jobs of marketing that the universe has ever seen, is Nike. Remember, Nike sells a commodity. They sell shoes!!! And yet, when you think of Nike you feel something different than a shoe company. In their ads, as you know, they don’t ever talk about the product. They don’t ever tell you about their air soles and why they are better than Reebok’s air soles. What does Nike do in their advertising? They honor great athletes. And they honor great athletics. That’s who they are, that’s what they are about! Apple spends a fortune on advertising — you’d never know it….you’d never know it! So…when I got here, Apple just fired their agency and there was a competition with 23 agencies that…you know…four years from now we would pick one. And we blew that up and we hired Chiat\Day, the ad agency that I was fortunate enough to work with years ago and created some award winning work including the commercial voted the best ad ever made, 1984 (by Advertising Professionals). And…we started working about eight weeks ago, and the question we asked was, “Our customers want to know who is Apple and what is it that we stand for…where do we fit in this world?” And what we’re about isn’t making boxes for people to get their jobs done — although we do that well. We do that better than almost anybody, in some cases. But Apple is about something more than that! Apple at the core…its core value — is that, we believe that people with passion can change the world for the better. That’s what we believe! And we have had the opportunity to work with people like that. We’ve had the opportunity to work with people like you; with software developers, with customers, who have done it. In some big, and some small ways. And we believe that, in this world, people can change it for the better. And that those people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones that actually do! And so, what we’re going to do in our first brand marketing campaign in several years, is to get back to that core value! A lot of things have changed. The market is in a total different place than where it was a decade ago. And Apple is totally different — and Apple’s place in it is totally different. And believe me, the products, and the distribution strategy, and the manufacturing are totally different…and we understand that. But values and core values — those things shouldn’t change. The things that Apple believed in at its core, are the same things Apple really stands for today. How Zara Took Over The Industry Using Fast Fashion

04:02
Today, we’re going to look at the history of Zara, its parent company Inditex, and the fashion industry in general, to see how it became possible to create such a high churn rate in the fashion industry. An average American will throw away 77 pounds of clothing every year. And that’s true across the majority of the western world. That is two suitcases of clothes, just dumped. Zara’s first store opened in 1975, in a city called A Coruna in northern Spain. Owners Amancio Ortega and Rosalia Mera had wanted to name it after a favorite Greek film called Zorba the Greek, but a bar on their street had already beat them to the punch, so they settled for Zara, since they had already had the letters made for the sign. Inditex was set up in 1985 as holding company for Zara and the manufacturing plants. They went on to set up and take-over many other high-street brands that follow Zara’s format; such as Pull and Bear, Bershka and Stradivarius. They now have over 6000 stores globally. Zara’s early business model was to create similar copies to high end lines but at an affordable price. As they expanded through Spain, Ortega pushed the idea of instant fashion, where Zara could react incredibly quickly to new trends so they could put new lines on the shelves in a fraction of the normal time. -----------------Support the channel: Support this channel: https://www.patreon.com/alexberman SUBSCRIBE for more videos like this: http://youtube.com/alxberman?sub_confirmation=1 Check out our Digital Agency Marketing Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/hr/podcast/digital-agency-marketing-1/id1200614219?mt=2&ls=1 Need lead generation or marketing support for your agency? Facebook Marketing Strategy: How to Build a Six Figure Business in Under 90 Days With Facebook Ads

08:42
In this detailed video, I share with you a lucrative Facebook marketing strategy to help you make six figures or more online. Subscribe here to learn more of my secret facebook marketing tips: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=neilvkpatel Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog Everyone says it's hard to make money, and that you need money to make money. That's a bunch of BS. Today, I'm going to share with you how I built a six-figure business in 90 days using Facebook ads and how you can too. Sign up for Facebook Ads then sign up for Webinar Jam. Webinar jam is a webinar software that allows you educate and sell people online. You see all these ads on YouTube and Facebook for people saying, 'register for my webinar.' Why do you think they're doing them? It's because it's an easy way to make money, and I hate to say it most of the people who are doing this, suck at everything other than selling on the webinar. They don't have that many skills. Why don't I do it anymore? I don't care for the money, but I'll share with you how you can do it step by step, so the first thing, as I mentioned, sign up for Webinar Jam. Webinar Jam is a software that allows you to do a webinar and sell on there. They also have this other software called EverWebinar, which you'll also need, and it allows you to do a webinar once, but make it recorded so that way your webinar continuously seems like you're holding a new one every 15 minutes. So, people can sign up and then join your webinar. Now that you've got your webinar up and running and going create a webinar. The webinar can be on anything, how to create an Amazon business, how to do something that you're good at. Something that other people want to learn. So with your webinar, the first part is educating. The first 30 to 40 minutes of your webinar presentation should be educating. Showing tips, techniques, strategies that they haven't seen before. And then after you did that you're like, 'Hey, did you like these techniques?' Did you think they were amazing? There are amazing techniques, but I have ones that are way better. Would you like to hear those? Do I have your permission? And the reason you are asking their permission, is because you're asking them, hey, can I sell you something in other words, right? Then, on the webinar, sell it to them for a price. The price could be a thousand bucks. Usually, you want to have somewhere between $500 and a thousand five hundred. But the price that you choose has to be discounted. So, if you're selling it for $500, the original price needs to be $2000, $3000, or whatever it may be. With Webinar Jam, you can also put a countdown clock. Right in their settings, they break down that you can put a timer. When you put a timer, it tells people that this offers only valid until the end of this webinar or the next week, or whatever you decide that you want to end up using. And when you do that, people know time sensitive. And when it's time sensitive, they're much more likely to buy instead of thinking if they want to buy. Now that you've got the webinar up and running, you want to drive traffic. Through Webinar Jam, you can just throw up a landing page, get people to opt-in. You want to keep it simple. Maybe have an image of you. Tell people what they are going to expect on the webinar, and then an opt-in. And then when there's opt-in, you can use Twilio, people will get a text reminder, and they'll start joining. And then as they join and they show up to the webinar, you'll start getting sales. And when you are having your webinar timing so when they can sign up and listen to it, make sure you have a webinar that starts every 15 minutes. Remember, it's recorded, you don't have to be in the webinar every 15 minutes. Instead, other people can just join whenever they want, that means that when you're sleeping, you could be making money. How to Make Money With Facebook Ads - The Numbers And you give you a rough idea; I was selling a thousand dollar product. For every hundred webinar registrations, I would get 3.6 sales, and roughly 20% would refund. I would still make well over $2000, and for those hundred webinar registrations in general, I would be paying six bucks per webinar registration. So, that means I'm spending $600 to make more than $2000, right, I don't know what the exact math works out to, but I think it's around like $2500, or $2800, after refunds or even three grand, whatever it may be. But the point I'm trying to say is, the math works out well. Facebook advertising can be extremely lucrative if you have the right Facebook marketing strategy.

How to Start Your Own SEO Agency | Find Quality Leads For Your Digital Marketing Agency

06:27
So you want to start your own SEO agency? Here's how you do it. ►►Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog Adam LoDolce from Viewership.com talks with Neil Patel about building an SEO agency. How do I start my own SEO agency? First, you have to believe in yourself. The second thing you need to do to build your own SEO agency is to find out who's doing a ton of ads on Google AdWords, using SEMrush, and it will tell you how much money they're spending on ads each month. That'll give you an idea of how much money a company has. If they spend $500,000 a month or $1 million, or $200,000, there's a good chance they could pay you for SEO. You don't want to go after the ones who spend a half a million or a million a month because those guys are big organizations. You want to go after the ones who are spending 20, 30 grand a month. Now that you've figured out who to go after, the third step is to start your own SEO agency is emailing these companies. Another strategy is to use Crunchbase. They list out all the companies that are recently funded, their valuations, how much money they raise. When these companies raise $4 or $5 million, and you hit them and their investors up, tell them what they are doing wrong and how you can help solve the problem. Investors never want to hear that a company they just funded is messing up. So you know they're going to forward the email over. The investor's not gonna spend any time or energy solving the problem, but they're going to be sure the problem is addressed. The investor will go straight to the person who's running the company. Don't hold anything back when you send these emails. If these companies have $5 million, they're not going to take the time to learn things on their own, they're going to pay the person who just outlined their problems to fix them. You want to charge five grand a month for someone who raised $50 million or $5 million? They don't care; it's a drop in the bucket. The genius part about this is you didn't go for the marketing director or even the CEO of the company; you went to the people who were funding those people. So it's guaranteed money. And if you do well for those investors, they're gonna tell all their portfolio companies "Hey, this guy did this for one of my investments. "You should hire him for your business, too." And that's a great way to get clients. There you have it, that is how to start your own SEO agency. Make sure you leave a comment and your questions below. We're going to be doing this Q&A Thursdays every week. Anytime you need help with anything marketing-related, whether it's starting an agency, online or digital marketing or you're a founder, or entrepreneur or marketer, or just anyone who's interested in getting into the field, I don't care what your qualifications are, how much money you have, we're here to help, so feel free to leave a comment.

Video marketing - Why Companies Should Include Videos in their Social Media Strategy.

Learn more: https://trungkien-vn.com/online-marketing/ Video marketing - Why Companies Should Include Videos in their Social Media Strategy. Social media marketing is any initiative done on social media to gain customer attention and website traffic. It is what a lot of marketers and companies are doing today to communicate to customers and increase sales. According to Hubpost, 92% of marketers in 2014 claimed that social media was important to their business; 80% of these said that their social media efforts improved traffic to their websites. Using social media then can be rewarding for many companies. It is not only a great avenue for companies to reach more customers, but it also makes their products more accessible and visible. Marketing content in social media can take the form of shorts posts, photos and videos. Videos are strongly becoming popular in social media. More people are now either making their own videos or sharing them on social media platforms. Facebook Co-founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, says that most Facebook content are content that are shared by people to friends. In the near future (if not now), people will be sharing videos. Zuckerberg also announced last year that Facebook will be focusing on video marketing in 2015. Twitter is also moving towards video marketing. In 2014, it introduced Promoted Video. This helps marketers upload and distribute native videos on Twitter. This means that, instead of just sharing video links, people are now be able to embed and view videos on Twitter. This is good news for marketers who want to make video part of their social media strategy. Numerous articles and studies online have shown the benefits of using videos to market products to consumers. Adding video content on social media can bring. 1. Increased brand awareness. Social media is valuable to companies since it makes products more visible and accessible to customers. People like to share, re-post or re-tweet interesting and novel content. Add video content and people will able to see and connect to your product or brand in an effective and more powerful way. A study shows that 41% internet users are more likely to share and repost videos. This gives companies more opportunities to reach more audiences and customers. 2. Improved customer interaction. Social media enables companies to connect to people. When companies build a “following” they interact with potential, new and existing customers. With every interaction, there is a chance to convert and make a sale. Videos enhance that interaction by giving customers a more complete picture of what your company or product is like. 3. Better brand or company image. Social media humanizes companies and brands. It is “a place where brands act like people do.” When customers see this human side, they are more likely to trust a company or brand and buy a product or service. Videos can add another dimension to this since it makes use of facial expression, body language and music to connect to people. Videos can be used to show a typical day at work or a company’s commitment to a cause. With these benefits and more, video marketing can improve and enhance social media marketing.
