Burberry Brit Rhythm Review:
Released in 2011, Burberry Brit Rhythm is an accessible men's cologne that was developed by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Olivier Polge, which was the same team behind Paco Rabanne Invictus.
Brit Rhythm opens with basil, cardamom, juniper and verbena. The heart notes consist of benzoin, labdanum and patchouli. Finally, Brit Rhythm closes on cedarwood, coumarin and myrrh.
Given its overtly spicy bouquet, Burberry Brit Rhythm is a definite autumn and winter fragrance. However, it features some aromatic notes, which could be functional during the spring.
[05:53] Wake & Strength:
Brit Rhythm's sillage and projection offer a reasonable performance. However, it is let down by a weak longevity, which causes the fragrance to fade within a few hours after application.
[06:48] 3rd Party Feedback:
Brit Rhythm is much more popular among younger demographics as older people of all genders find it to be lacking subtlety and somewhat obnoxious.
However, it is very popular among younger people and is compared favourably with other contenders such as Spice Bomb.
As hinted in the previous section, it's a very youthful fragrance best worn by younger men in their early twenties.
Meanwhile, it's a casual fragrance that could be worn in the evening.
Finally, it's a mildly masculine fragrance that could even be worn by women at a push.
Brit Rhythm embodies the darker and younger side of Burberry as a brand. The bottle features a geometric design and an acrylic cap.
With regards to the packaging, it feels a bit cheap with a matte-finish cardboard.
As for the atomizer, it's very strong and powerful, which layers on a fragrance a little too thickly.
Finally, the value for money is excellent when it can be found for around $30 to $40 for 100ml (3.4 Oz).
Whilst Paco Rabanne 1 Million may have been a victim of its own success, it's still by all means an excellent and unique fragrance.
It launched a craze for sweet men's colognes after it but no-one has been able to replicate 1 Million's unique formula. If you're a young lad, this may be an ideal starter fragrance.
