Ryan Hayashi Hayashi’s competition history is one of the most extensive in the history of magic and he is well-known in the magic industry across Europe. He works as a lecturer at the University of Mannheim in Germany and travels the world performing as a mentalist, magician and samurai sword expert. He does corporate and private shows, lectures, and gala show performances in all of the world’s major languages. Website: www.hayashi-samurai.com 2. Dr. Michael Rubinstein Dr. Rubinstein has lectured and performed all over the world. He was the guest of Honor at the Second European Coin Magic Symposium, held in Milan, Italy, in 2011, and was a featured performer at the famed Magic Castle in Hollywood, in February, 2016. In 2018, Dr. Rubinstein appeared on season five of Penn and Teller Fool US, performing one of his signature effects, Twilight Zone Wild Coin. Eric Mead As a child, Eric Mead says that he had a typical interest in magic. However, by the time he was a teenager, his interest had grown to a full-fledged obsession -- he was getting paid to do birthday parties and banquets in his hometown. He began street performing in 1985 and four years later was offered a job as “Magic Bartender” at the Tower Comedy/Magic Bar owned by John Denver. Working at the bar, as well as private parties and comedy clubs, he became well-known in the industry and went on to perform one of the most memorable pieces in The Aristocrats. Website: www.ericmead.org 4. Alex Geiser Alex is known around the world for his innovative thinking and unique approach to his art. Since performing at the age of 13, Alex worked his way from children’s birthday parties, to corporate performances, and finally to consultation for a major motion picture. In 2009, Alex answered his calling to Las Vegas to learn from the masters. After meeting them, he was surprised to fool them with his own techniques. To this day, Alex continues to create, perform, and teach, some of the most beautiful magic in the world. Website: www.myfavoritemagician.com 5. Copper Silver Brass Cool Coin Trick

05:08
This is my first routine idea with these coins, I have improved it since and will be uploading the updated effect in the near future. This is a very old coin trick that I first heard about in The Complete Works of Derek Dingle, compiled and written by Richard Kaufman. It involves 3 coins, one silver, one copper, and one... you get the picture.

A card and a coin

00:25
Production and vanish of a coin with a card. I was inspired by Dr. Yoshihiko Mutobe's "Three coin assembly" and came up with "one card and one coin" as the ultimate version of coin assembly plots or a hybrid of one coin routine and one card routine. This video shows a part of it. Here, I utilize some techniques and ideas invented or smartly used by Dai Vernon, Tenkai Ishida, Al Goshman, Richard Kaufman, and Takuma Ukawa.

The Gift by Angelo Carbone - Magic Trick - Magicland.se

03:59
The Gift by Angelo Carbone! Angelo fooled me with his original version, and the finished product is just wonderful. It's a beautiful trick and a very versatile prop with all the trademark elegance we'd expect from one of close-up magic's finest living inventors." - Derren Brown "One of the most miraculous things I've ever seen." - Richard Kaufman Rarely does a secret get published that ticks all the boxes (no pun intended). A unique concept from master creator Angelo Carbone, The Gift is an effect with a method so clever that you'll feel a giddy urge to reveal the method to your spectators. We don't suggest that you actually do this. The spectator deals the cards face up and stops wherever they want. They open the gift box themselves and remove the prediction inside. The prediction will ALWAYS be correct! Bonus routine included where your prediction is torn in half, and half of it is in view the ENTIRE time before a card is selected. The other half is inside the box and, of course, both torn halves match perfectly! The spectator and the box do the hard work, but you come out the winner. The Gift is a self-contained, precision-crafted device that makes the effect easy to perform. It doesn't use any indexes or loads, and resets in seconds. Open the box, set up the device, and you'll be performing within minutes. What you get: - The Gift Box - Deck of Cards - 40 min instruction video with Angelo Carbone - The ability to perform a miracle

Sinful (Book and DVD) by Wayne Houchin - Coin Magic Trick

00:55
Available from http://magicbookshop.co A signed coin magically penetrates through a sealed can of soda or beer. The can is opened, the contents poured out and trapped inside is the initialed coin. The effect can be performed anywhere, at anytime with no special props, no switches, no gimmicks, and no setup. Both the coin and the can may be borrowed. In fact, the spectator can keep the can with their signed coin trapped inside. From magician Wayne Houchin (Thread, Stigmata and Control) and graphic artist Josh Funk comes Sinful: A Graphic Novel. A striking new vision of the celebrated Quarter Through Soda Can routine that became one of the most talked about effects from the first season of Criss Angel: Mindfreak. Not just an instruction manual, Sinful offers the reader the rare opportunity to peer into the creative process behind this routine. Set in a fictional nightclub called Hendricks, the novel opens with a stylized re-imagining of a live performance and then allows the reader the opportunity to learn the full routine from Houchins personal notebook. This one of a kind learning experience offers a look at the evolutionary process of creating - exploring other moves, concepts and ideas that didnt make it into the final handling. New ideas and alternative moves are discussed and taught in detail. Also included is a performance DVD that features live performances and an interview with Wayne Houchin conducted by Paul Harris. Sinful: A Graphic Novel is for the magician interested in learning a truly powerful piece of organic magic and for the artist interested in the process of creating, not just copying. A unique look at Sinful (The Quarter Through Soda Can) Featuring artwork by Josh Funk Forward by Banachek Additional moves and handling Graphic Novel + performance DVD One of the greatest no-preparation miracles EVER. You do it anytime, anywhere, with any can and any coin and its guaranteed to kill. - Richard Kaufman, Editor of Genii, The Conjurors Magazine This is a great trick. You are crazy for releasing it! - Lance Burton The impromptu nature and startling power of this effect is a rarity in the magic world. Buy the DVD - you will not be disappointed! - Banachek In all my years I wish magic would be more like this - practical and incredibly effective. This is a gem and worth 10 times the price. - Johnny Thompson

Card College 1 Card College 1 begins with fundamental techniques, and includes the Overhand Shuffle, False Cuts, Card Controls, Forces, the Riffle Shuffle, Transfer Cuts, the Glide, the Glimpse, Key Cards, the Double Lift and Flourishes. Roberto discusses each sleight in detail, while you watch clear close ups of his hands, finger positions, and grips. Then sit back while Roberto entertains you with a trick or two that includes the move you've just learned. These tricks will soon become standards in your repertoire, including Belchou Aces Revisited, The Question Is?, Further Than That and Beyond, Impossible! Finally, Roberto explains each trick, with special emphasis on the move and finely tuned details that he's learned in the course of hundreds of performances. Card College 2 As with Roberto's classic volumes, the dvd of Card College 2 continues with more advanced sleights and moves. Now you'll learn Auxiliary Sleights, the Hindu Shuffle, the Overhand Shuffle II, the Force II, the Palm, the Spread Cull, False Counts, the Crimp, and the Reverse. Each sleight is broken down into its essential elements. Roberto carefully demonstrates the move, each one fully illustrated through close up shots of his hands. Roberto then includes a practical demonstration of the sleights as they appear in some of his favorite tricks. These include X Marks the Spot, The Magic Phone Number, Time Machine, Twisting the Aces, the Lucky Coin and the Psychic Stop Trick; soon they'll be among your favorites too! Each section concludes with Roberto's breakdown of the performance, as he carefully shows how to use the sleight, and draws attention to the tips and details that come from years of experience.

Sinful Book and DVD by Wayne Houchin

Effect: A signed coin magically penetrates through a sealed can of soda or beer. Set in a fictional nightclub called Hendricks, the novel opens with a stylized re-imagining of a live performance and then allows the reader the opportunity to learn the full routine from Houchin's personal notebook. This one of a kind learning experience offers a look at the evolutionary process of creating - exploring other moves, concepts and ideas that didn't make it into the final handling. A unique look at Sinful (The Quarter Through Soda Can) Featuring artwork by Josh Funk Forward by Banachek Additional moves and handling Graphic Novel performance DVD "One of the greatest no-preparation miracles EVER. Jerry Andrus A Lifetime Of Magic Volume Three

02:33
Volume three features two of the most popular Jerry Andrus creations, the "Startling Color Change" which Charlie Miller called "The most beautiful move in card magic" and the "Miser's Miracle" which is a reputation maker. You will also see the original "Linking Pins" routine performed by the inventor. Routines performed and explained: The Two Card Trick: A spectator points to two playing cards. The cards are removed from the deck and a large coin magically appears between them. The cards are now used to produce a total of twelve coins which are dumped into the spectator's hand. Ace, Two, Three, Four Trick: An ace, two and a three are removed from the deck as you mention that you are doing the Ace, Two, Three, Four Trick. Before the spectator can ask where is the four, you shake the three cards and four large coins appear on their backs. Miser's Miracle: Andrus' classic routine where coins magically appear as two cards are rubbed together. As a finale one of the cards is torn in half and a coin is produced from between the two halves. The half card is torn again and a large coin appears from between two of the quarter cards. The hands are shown empty throughout the routine. Startling Color Change: Andrus' technique for the color change is considered the most beautiful in magic. As you wave your hand over the face of the deck the top card visually changes. Shockwave: A signed card is returned to the center of a deck which is wrapped with a rubberband. When the Band is snapped the card escapes from the deck and flutters to the table. Four Coins Through The Handkerchief: Coins penetrate, one at a time, through the center of a handkerchief. Each phase is structured to look more impossible than the preceding one. Temporary Oblivion: A ball vanishes from the center of a handkerchief and visually reappears under it. Card-Tration: A selected card is lost in the deck. The deck is wrapped by a handkerchief. The selection is now pulled right through the handkerchief. Vampire Needle: A giant needle rips through a handkerchief. The resulting hole is healed leaving the handkerchief as good as new. Vanishing Pen: A borrowed pen vanishes while wrapped by a handkerchief. Linking Pins (performance only): See Andrus perform the now classic routine he popularized where three safety pins link and unlink under impossible conditions. Sleights taught: Diagonal Jog (with variations), Banded Side Palm (with variations), The Clip Slip and many techniques and sleights with coins, cards, balls and handkerchiefs. Features the Auto Dimension, Paraboxes and Hyper House optical illusions and two interviews hosted by Richard Kaufman where they discuss why eliminating distraction and misdirection can make magic stronger and how simplicity of effect can avoid confusing lay people. Original release date: DVD: July 2004, VHS: January, 2001. Running time: Approximately 60 minutes.
