This is my sound postproduction project I've done at school. The task was to create your own soundtrack to a chosen video. I've recorded voices of amateur actors, foleys and chose and edited music and sound effects. Music used by me in this piece was taken from the features: 'The Princess Bride' - Mark Knopfler 'Walk The Line' - T Bone Burnett 'La Strada' - Nino Rota and animations: 'Up' - Michael Giacchino 'Treasure Planet' - James Newton Howard 'Cars' - Randy Newman I also used a theme from 'Twin Peaks' series by Angelo Badalamenti and some pieces from Paris Music library.

10 Animated Movie Characters That Died On Screen

12:05
10 Animated Movie Characters That Died On Screen! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6 Animated films are great for children to learn life lessons. Unfortunately, sometimes these life lessons involve death. While it's common for animated films to allude to death and have a character die off screen, some of them pushed the limits by showcasing a character die on screen. In the film Tangled, Rapunzel's adoptive mother and kidnapper stays eternally young until the magical powers go away and she withers away in front of our eyes. Monster House features a pretty horrific backstory including carnival side-show act that falls to her death and gets buried alive in cement. The straight-to-DVD film Green Lantern: Emerald Knights features a pretty disturbing death involving a decapitation. Tarzan's great jungle adventure reaches a dramatic finale when Clayton gets tangled up in the wrong vine and is literally hung to death. The Land Before Time features a dramatic scene where Little Foot learns some tough lessons on life and death as his mother passes away. The death of an insect may seem like nothing until you see it happen to poor Ray in The Princess and the Frog and Charlotte in Charlotte's Web. Inside Out showcased a terrible death to a character that has deeper meaning than anyone can imagine. The Black Cauldron took animated deaths to a whole new level as the Horned King was burned alive. The Lion King features the tragic death of Mufasa at the hands of Scar and it still haunts us to this day. Watch to see how all of these deaths played out on screen! Aladdin Disney Cartoon Songs Friend Like Me Reprise

Aladdin is a 1992 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is the 31st Disney animated feature film, and was the fourth produced during the Disney film era known as the Disney Renaissance. It was produced and directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, and is based on the Arabic folktale of the same name from One Thousand and One Nights and the French interpretation by Antoine Galland. The voice cast features Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Frank Welker, Gilbert Gottfried and Douglas Seale. The film follows Aladdin, an Arabian street urchin, who finds a magic lamp containing a genie. In order to hide the lamp from the Grand vizier, he disguises himself as a wealthy prince, and tries to impress the Sultan and his daughter. Lyricist Howard Ashman first pitched the idea, and the screenplay went through three drafts before then-Disney Studios president Jeffrey Katzenberg agreed to its production. The animators based their designs on the work of caricaturist Al Hirschfeld, and computers were used for both finishing the artwork and creating some animated elements. The musical score was written by Alan Menken and features six songs with lyrics written by both Ashman and Tim Rice, who took over after Ashman's death. Aladdin was released on November 25, 1992, to critical and commercial success, becoming the highest-grossing film of 1992 with an earn of over $504 million in worldwide box office revenue. Upon release, it became the first animated feature to reach the half a billion dollar mark, and was briefly the highest-grossing animated film of all time until it was surpassed by The Lion King. Aladdin garnered two Academy Awards, as well as other accolades for its soundtrack which had the first and only number from a Disney feature to earn a Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the film's theme song. The film's VHS release also set a sales record and grossed about $500 million in the United States. Aladdin's success led to various derived works and other material inspired by the film, including two direct-to-video sequels, The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves; two television series, one of the same name, and a spin-off short series, Great Minds Think for Themselves; and a Broadway adaptation which debuted in 2014. In 2016, it was announced that an upcoming live-action adaptation directed by Guy Ritchie is in the works, and is scheduled to be released on May 24, 2019.

Lost Disney 'Oswald' film found in Japan!

02:46
One of Walt Disney's earliest films has been discovered in Japan. An anime historian had the cartoon for 70 years before he realised it was one of seven lost films. The two-minute short features Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a precursor to Mickey Mouse. Yasushi Watanabe, 84, bought the film from a toy wholesaler in Osaka when he was a teenager, paying only ¥500 (£3.45 at current exchange rates). Originally called Neck & Neck, the 16mm cartoon was tagged with the name Mickey Manga Spide (Mickey Cartoon Speedy), and remained in Mr Watanabe's personal collection for 70 years. Toy Story 4 first trailer reveals new character - meet Forky Disney reports record results as it flags up new Star Wars Tom Hiddleston to return as Loki in new TV series The significance of the film only became apparent when he read the book, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: The Search for the Lost Disney Cartoons, written by long-term Disney animator David Bossert and published last year. "As I've been a Disney fan for many years, I'm happy that I was able to play a role," he told the Asahi Shimbun newspaper, which confirmed with the Walt Disney Archive that the cartoon was one of a handful of lost Oswald films. Image copyrightBFI/WALT DISNEY ANIMATION STUDIO Image caption Another missing Oswald film, Sleigh Bells, was found in the BFI archives in 2015 Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in 1927, and it was Disney Studios' first character to have its own series. A total of 27 cartoons were made, but the anthropomorphic rabbit became the centre an intellectual property dispute, with Universal Studios wrestling the rights to the character in 1928. In response, Disney began work on a new lead character: one that would eventually be known as Mickey Mouse. As for Oswald, it was left in animation purgatory until Disney CEO Bob Iger bought back the rights in 2006. "What's particularly good about this story is that it shows the spread of these films across the globe," Jez Stewart, the BFI's animation curator told the BBC. "How the films propagated across the world and where they end up is almost as interesting as the film itself." In 2015, another lost animation featuring Oswald was found in the BFI's archives. Stewart says these discoveries are important, but only part of the picture when it comes to early animation. At the same time as Oswald was being made in the US, for example, Bonzo the dog was having surreal adventures on UK screens. "I think it's a shame that it sometimes takes a lost film to be found to draw attention to the films that are there."
