Experts say it takes 21 days of doing something new for it to become a habit. Being consistent will greatly reward you.
You already know that drinking enough water and getting sufficient sleep is important for your health. While exercising also elevates mood by boosting the production of endorphins – which are hormones that act as natural anti-depressants. But did you know that getting direct sunlight is just as important? Sunlight on our skin promotes vitamin D3 which is essential for hormone production and bone health. Take a few minutes a day and expose your face and arms to some sunshine.
Taking some time off to unwind can do wonders for your mood, mental health, and self-esteem. Do at things every day that make you feel good. Listen to music, learn a new skill, read books, journal, or watch something funny. Healthy habits that will change your life include regular social media detox. As hard it is, switch off your phone and laptop for a few hours every day to improve your mood, and reconnect with the world around you.
The Pareto's Principle or the 80/20 rule, means that in any situation, 20% of the tasks yield 80% of the results. So maximize productivity by investing most of your time and energy on those specific tasks that will create the biggest impact. On the same note, try to single-task as much as possible - completing one task at a time, in order of importance.
If you’re already doing some of these simple habits… Great! You’re on the right track. But, maybe you’re not doing any of them. Well, today is the first day of the rest of your life, and you can start building healthy habits that will change your life.

Direct sunlight! Only for 4 months. Then it's either too cold to go out and breath in or too hot to bear the 15 min of sunlight. So, I get sunlight 15 min per day as comfortable rate as possible and feeling great!

I am glad that you mentioned this one because we have been fed so much negative information about the sun that we oftentimes forget that it's one of our main sources of vitamin D and life on this planet.
I have to note that dark skin people need a lot more than a few minutes of sunlight daily and NO SUNSCREEN!
wake up at 5 am a disaster if you have very poor sleep. I paint now as I am unable to work due toe exhaustion . I had a 6 am start and I still woke often. It can mean sleep pressure. If I have to get up early I need sleeping pills. Bad idea,

Terrible advice particularly building habit of listening music. I think music is the worst habit to build ever. It is bad for mind as well as ears.Don't you know it damages ear drum and drives the brain crazy. In my opinion people needs something better than music which can reduce stress and make them happy .
I like the video. I do disagree with the multitasking portion. No one can really multitask with any sort of effectiveness. They can try but they will have seriously degraded performance in one or both things that they are trying to do. It has been proven in numerous studies. Your mind can only focus on one thing at a time. This doesn't include automatic functions where you can walk and talk or something to that effect. I had to do a report on it while earning my degree in Psychology. You can switch quickly between subjects, but you cannot multitask to any real degree. They can't even get computers to multi-task. Outside of that, I enjoyed the video.
I'd like to add to your 'avoid eating late' tip. For me, I learned the hard way. Used to be I'd be staring at the ceiling for several hours because my body was trying to digest what I'd eaten. There's a short-cut for this one. If you know you need a good night's sleep, by all means, wait the two hours, or eat less and or give your stomach some slack. Say you get home from work at five, and you're usually in be by 7:30. What's a good choice of food for the two and a half hours? Why not try some salad, or maybe a tuna fish sandwich w a few chips and your choice of a healthy drink. Lighter meals also helps reduce weight(of course), but the other benefits are, no congestion, more energy in less amount of time because of the portion size, keeping yourself hungry AND being able to fall asleep faster. If you were going to bed at 8:00, you may consider eating something heavier, like maybe a fully loaded casadilla, chips & salsa and a few chimmy chungas.
Took me about ten years to master this, but thankfully, I've managed to, like the video said, stay healthier. As a kid in high school, yes, I was overweight, but thankfully I fought my problem and came out on top.
Having a pet to take care of keeps us from being selfish. They need to eat, be cleaned up after and given attention etc. (Kind of like having kids.) They give back, too. Right now my kitty is helping me De-stress after a hard day.Love your channel.🐯🐻🐯
