Part 2/3 of our wild night out in Seoul~After eating wiggling octopus at the fish market, we made our way to the Dragon Hill Spa where we spent the night a Korean Spa, also known as a jimjilbang. It was quite the experience! Apparently, spending the night in a spa is really common in Korea. Oh yeah, and you have to be completely naked to enter the spa...

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
We’ve pulled inspiration from several of our favorite travel vloggers on YouTube, such as: +CaseyNeistat +FunForLouis +Jon Olsson +Mr Ben Brown, and any other talented travel vloggers that YouTube’s algorithm will hopefully connect us with ;)
We're trying something new! We loved Seoul so much that we want to make sure everyone has an amazing time in this incredible city! So we put together a travel guide called 9 Things You Must Do On Your First Trip To Seoul. Check it out! http://karaandnate.com/9-things-you-must-do-in-seoul/
THX FOR GOING TO SEOUL, KOREA!💜 I RECOMMEND U GUYS TO GO TO PALAWAN, IN THE PHILIPPINES😊💜 ITS AMAZING, VERY BEAUTIFUL SCENERY AND PPL ARE REALLY NICE THERE. IF U GUYS DO PHILIPPINES WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU GUYS WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME! A WHOLE TON OF VLOGGERS ACTUALLY WENT THERE💜
before Korean spas became a modern more touristy spa there were public community spas or "baths" that people would clean themselves in. Being naked is not weird or unusual for Koreans and everyone goes just to clean themselves with their family and we are all a community so no awkwardness. I know it seems unusual but that is the culture there, both my parents were born in Korea and went to those as kids, I was born in America though so I am not used to that and also find it a bit odd but only because being naked is quite taboo in America and that is what I was born around. I even do the traditional like full body dead skin scrubbing thing and it is quite satisfying to strip all the dead skin off.
I loved the jjimjilbangs when I lived in Seoul! I remember my friend and I would sit in the hot tub and "stare" at the women showering for and hour and wondering what they were doing that they would be sitting there washing for so long. You have to get scrubbed by the ajumas/agashis! It's the best! You come out so smooth it is absolutely amazeballs Each spa is different but Dragon hill (where they went) actually has a dedicated sleep room with like bunkbeds. Whole families go together and just spend the whole day there. There's also a couple of actual little restaurants at dragonhill that very tasty.
After watching your Siberian train videos, we've now addicted to all the rest of your videos! You guys are amazing and your adventure videos are entertaining and so easy to watch! Can't say thank you enough! You 2 are the best!!!
You guys are awesome!!! Thank you so much for sharing your journeys... I'm not sure if you already know this but in NYC there's a spa very similar to this it's called Spa Castle.. There are 2 of them now but I go to the original one in Queens N.Y... it used to be 24 hours but now they close at midnight.
I live in the suburbs about 45 min outside of Atlanta, Ga and what I like to call Korea town (Pleasant Hill) they actually have a sauna like that. It’s open 24/7 and have men and woman locker rooms and naked pools and like I think 5 sauna igloos and a cold room. A small cafeteria and massage rooms. I’ve gone a few times and you can stay there for 24 hrs and it’s $25’s. www.jejusauna.com is their website. If anyone is everyone here in Atl and want a Korean experience like this I highly recommend!
Your so brave to do this! I've gone to a place like this once in Washington, D.C. I really enjoyed it and they had a delicious cafe too but I got sick afterwards. I think I overheated. So my mom advised me not to go again, sigh .
I remember reading a blog about living in Finland as an American the author wrote the top 10 things you will not experience in the US. One of them was: Eventually you will end up naked in a room filled with naked people you don't know...that's a sauna. I guess Finland isn't the only place where that will happen.
And as a Finn, it is pronounced sow-na not saw-nah.
Love the videos! Looking forward to more of your adventures!
There are two in Dallas and one that I know of in Atlanta and a few other major cities I imagine. I drive to Dallas once and a while to luxuriate but I don't sleep there. Those scrubs are borderline torture but you do feel smooth and clean afterwards. The regular Korean massage therapists are also excellent in technique.
So glad that you both enjoyed Seoul! If you ever crave the full Korean experience when you're back in TN, come check us out in Atlanta and the Seoul of the South =) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMLCCMRgtD4&t=15s
Just discovered you guys through your base camp trek vids, and just wanted to say I’m really enjoying your stuff! I’m a Londoner, and loved your London vlogs, too. You should organise a meet up with viewers next time you’re in town! I’d love your viewers elsewhere to see the hidden gems in LDN. Keep going, guys!
I love jjimjilbangs my wife and I lived in korea last year and I would go all of the time. Most families will go several times a week and help each other scrub off the dead skin layer. My favorite part was the saunas but I never really found them too be that hot or that cold maybe I have a higher tolerance then you np though. My wife and I tried to film in one in the communal areas for our vlog but for the most part everyone is quiet and we felt we were being to loud so we stopped. On the weekends I would try to spend about 8 hours there as they totally reset my body I really miss not living in korea. Traveling the world will have to do though. Go to jeju island if you can you have not experienced korea till you go to jeju

Hi, my name is Ross Williams . Let me share a personal story with you. Back in 2007, I held an excellent position at a large IT company with a nice monthly salary. By 2008, the great recession hit. The company ran into financial problems and was forced to lay off over 50% of its staff. Unfortunately for me, I was included.
So there I was stranded, unemployed, with all the bills to pay and a family to support. Where I lived, such jobs werent easy to come by. So I decided to do a little research. I spent many sleepless nights on the web just searching for something to do, anything that could help support me and my family. I just wanted a way to make money, and not lose it, as I soon found to be the case with numerous internet scams.
Just like you, I often stumbled upon all types of web sites offering me some money matrix scheme, promising me all the money in the world. Yeah, right! From stuffing envelopes, Multi Level Marketing, High Yield Investment Programs, to selling all types of useless products. You name it, Ive been there, done that.
Finally, I came across something that worked.
Online advertising has skyrocketed over the past few years. In 2015, companies spent close to $50 billion advertising online. That figure is expected to increase substantially in 2016. What does this mean for you? A lot more money could be going into your bank account this year. Thats IF you take advantage of this secret system.
Companies worldwide are desperately searching for people just like you to type up their ads and post them online, and theyll pay you nicely in return. Its a win-win situation. They get more customers, you get paid. Its as simple as that. These companies have cash, LOTS of it and theyre eager to share it with you. All types of individuals around the world are using this system to make more money than they ever could working in a boring, dead-end job. You can work part-time or full-time, its all up to you.
